Book Tag: I Should Have Read That!
Well, I guess it is a good time to participate in a book tag, my good friend over at acascadeofbooks.com (Heya Rachel!) tagged me in a book tag, so now I am morally obliged to participate!
Here we go:
A book that a certain friend is always asking you to read.
Well, I was going to make a joke here about me not having any friends, but that is just sad-ish joke, and kind of not true. But I will maybe say Vernon Subutex 1 by Virginie Despentes, that have come up a few times in conversations, I also got that as a secret Santa gift at work.
A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up.
Too many to mention! Well, maybe Creature by John Saul, added it to my TBR list ages ago, and finally tracked down a second hand copy a while back, still have not got around to reading it. One day tho!
A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing yet.
I am really bad at starting series and not finishing them, gotten better at it, but right now I will say the last book in the Themis Files series by Sylvain Neuvel, have the last book in it to finish, its sitting on my shelf leering at me. The problem with some series is that they are too good, and you do not want it to end!
A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read.
Easy Don Quixote, have it on the shelf (again) and one of these days I will read it!
A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read.
Harry Potter, I have not read a single one of them. Seen the movies, not the books.
A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet.
Oooh, this is a hard one! Toss up between The Expanse tv show based on James S.A Corey’s book series, and (one of my favorite movies) The Thing based on “Who Goes There?/Frozen Hell” by John W. Campbell Jr. I have Frozen Hell and the first Expanse book in my possession, one day I will get around to read them.
A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet.
Clown in a Cornfield by Adam Cesare, I really want to read it!! it has clowns and cornfields, what more do one want?
Well, that was it, I had fun doing this! And if you have gotten to this point, well, then reward yourself with a book, you earned it!
