Book Blogger Inside Look Tag

Hello there! Saw my friend over at acascadeofbooks did a new book tag, which I of course will do too, because imitation is the highest form of flattery and I read somewhere that you should be nice to your friends..

Anyways, without further ado, let’s do this:

Where do you typically write your blog posts?

Where ever I can put my computer and have a comfy seat at the same time, something with soft cushions like a sofa.

How long does it generally take you to write a book review?

Everywhere from minutes to days, sometimes I feel like a mad painter putting a paint stroke a day on a canvas…… ok, that was really pretentious writing that, more like a mad painter that uses mud and road kill as paint and discarded cardboard as a canvas.

When did you start your book blog?

66 days ago, or 2 months and 4 days. Or 1584 hours ago…

What is the worst thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

For me it is the fact that people can see what kind of opinions I have, then they will realize I am kind of a twat, I am really self-conscious person.

What is the best thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

I have an excuse to buy more books!.... like a lot more!..... and it also helps getting in contact with likeminded people!

What blog post have you had the most fun writing so far?

Well, since I am quite new to the world of book blogging, I have not had the chance to do a lot of posts, but so far, I must say Slugs by Shaun Hutson, I am a big fan of slugs (book and invertebrate), a great fun horror novel!

What is your favourite type of blog post to write?

Whatever that allows me to rant and rave, I do love ranting and raving, I try and do it daily!!!!

When do you typically write?

Usually at night, sometimes I do write whenever I feel like it, not only for this blog but I also write short stories, horror and sci-fi (that probably never will be published).

Do you review every book you read?

No, do read a lot of different stuff, but what comes on this blog is the books that I like and enjoy, that’s why I called this blog Books-I-Like, not All-The-Books-I-Read.

How do you write your book reviews? With a cup of coffee or tea? With Netflix? Cuddled with your favourite fur baby?

Usually with a cup of cappuccino (yes, I am fancy) or another non-alcoholic beverage. Headphones on and either listening to jazz, soul or black metal (whilst writing this, I have been listening to Rotting Christ – Theogonia. Excellent Greek black metal!!)

I wish I had a fur baby!

When do you write your book reviews? Right after finishing the book? Two weeks after finishing the book?

Anywhere from minutes to months. Some books just get stuck in your head!

How often do you post?

Nowadays it is once or twice a week, hoping to become more structured and post more regularly

That was that, thanks for reading, you can now go back to your lives!!
